ROCK THE WOMAN CARD CONFERENCE

A.D. Reigns and Tracie Stern Founder and CEO The Rock the Woman Card
Talk about AMAZING........Over the weekend I attended The Rock the Woman Card Conference sponsored by Black Diamond Wellness. The host and founder of Rock the Woman Card Tracie Stern offered this free event with lunch included at the Wyndham Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  This conference had dynamic speakers who covered business, fashion, nutrition, beauty, and wellness. Tracie opened the show in just her robe, no makeup, and her fuzzy slippers. The opening set the tone for the entire day. The tone of the conference was about embracing yourself and being authentically you.  The Rock the Woman T-shirt hailed the phrase "I woke up this morning and realized, I don't have what it takes to be average".
This is how to open your conference!

The conference began with wedding industry entrepreneur Maya Houlihan this powerhouse coined "Queen of the Brides" shared a message of resiliency.  She has overcome losing her businesses, bankruptcy, foreclosure and public humiliation all in the last year. Her rainbow after the storm includes the 2018 launch of her new e-commerce venture E-Wedded.com, writing a book and starting a mentoring program. She's not letting anything stop her journey.  Other guest speakers included Personal trainer and nutrition consultant  Elizabeth Anastasopoulos taught us to "Reframe" our thinking when it comes to eating, health, and exercise. She challenged us to view it as an investment into your health.

After lunch, we heard Dr. Erica Steele of Holistic Family Practice a holistic practitioner who spoke about the "Human Condition" and a comprehensive approach to being authentically you. Followed by Makeup artist and Entrepreneur of Makeup by Vega Carla Vega gave information about choosing foundation, contouring and highlighting techniques and skin care regimen.

Freelance stylist Tracie Stern gave us some amazing tips on choosing clothing to fit your body type. She encouraged the crowd that "Fashion should create confidence and make you excited to get dressed."  Wearing the proper foundation under your clothing, and being comfortable with your size completes your look. "There is no standard fit size, so stop looking at the tag!!"  Tracie recommended, embracing your body, get regular bra fittings and invest in a stylist.  Having a stylist is beneficial, it's ok to ask for help. "Sometimes it takes a stranger to bring out your inner fierceness and a stylist will give you a new fresh perspective about you" Tracie stated. Finishing out the day was an interactive demonstration of self-defense techniques by a UFC coach from the UFC Gym located on First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach. This was the spectacular event and I can't wait to see what Tracie has in store for us next year!
